Global travel website holds recruitment evening for new Sunderland office

A global art, culture  and travel website is holding a recruitment evening to find ambitious graduates to man its new Sunderland base.

theculturetrip.com is a one-stop website showcasing the best of art, culture and travel for every single country in the world.

Set up by former academic psychiatrist Dr Kris Naudts in 2011 to showcase the best of global arts and culture, the website has experienced phenomenal growth in more than 200 countries and now covers topics such as film, music, apps, events, accommodation, restaurants and tours covering every single country in the world, establishing itself as a leading one-stop platfrom for art, culture and travel enthusiasts.

The company have a UK base in London but due to its growth are opening a new office in Sunderland in January and require a new team of talented graduates.

The company are holding a recruitment evening on Monday 4 November for prospective candidates to find out about the range of job opportunities available.

Candidates with a background in art, history, modern languages, literature, journalism, culture, media studies and computer science are required, with those applying having a passion for global art and culture.

The company are initially looking to recruit around 10 members of staff who want to pursue a career in arts, publishing or web and app development, with more positions expected to be recruited as the company continues to grow.

The recruitment evening is being held at the Sunderland Software Centre Tavistock Place, Sunderland SR1 1PB) on Monday 4 November at 16.00.

On the evening candidates will be given the opportunity to find out more about theculturetrip.com and its ambitious growth as well as the specific vacancies the company is looking to fill. Candidates will also have the opportunity to have a short, informal 10 minute face to face discussion with a representative from theculturetrip.com.
